Meet The Chief Storyteller
Why I Believe Every Story Matters
“Pull up a chair. Grab a coffee. Let’s talk stories — yours, mine, ours.”
I’m Pablo — known to some as #TheSidewalkProphet, to others as #TheChiefStoryteller.
Whatever the name, my purpose remains constant: I believe everyone and every brand carries a story worth telling.
Not just the polished parts.
But the gritty, grace-filled, glorious human journey beneath it all.

Where It All Began: The Kitchen and The Church
My story started in two sacred spaces: the church pulpit and our family kitchen.
At Nairobi Baptist Church and later Nairobi Chapel, I led worship as a university student, and it was there I first felt the weight and wonder of shared narratives. Before that, Christian Youth Camps with Word of Life, and a short but transformative season in Bible school (where I graduated with distinction), laid the foundation for my voice and vision.
But before the songs and sermons came something quieter.
Something warmer.
Something baked.
“My mother taught me to bake at age seven. Our kitchen became the original storytelling classroom — where food spoke love, and the table always had room for one more.”
In that humble space, I learned what it meant to nurture others. To pay attention.
To value people above all things.
That principle has never left me — and today, I see it reflected in the eyes of my two sons, now 18 and 19, as I ask myself what legacy I’ll leave behind.

The Rhythm of Sport. The Discipline of Purpose.
My journey has never followed a straight line — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I played rugby at the highest level, donning the Kenya national team jersey with pride.
The Safari Sevens.
The 1998 Commonwealth Games.
The Rugby World Cup qualifiers.
The 2001 Sevens Rugby World Cup.
“Those games were never just about scores. They were chapters in a larger story — one of rhythm, discipline, brotherhood, and national pride.”
Rugby taught me the poetry of purpose — a lesson I carry to this day.

From People to Purpose: Advertising and Brand Stories
But what fascinates me most — then and now — is people.
What moves us?
What shapes our identities, our cultures, our decisions?
This curiosity led me into the world of advertising, branding, marketing, and public relations — where I learned to blend strategy with storytelling, to shape the voices of companies, causes, and communities.
I spent years mastering the art of narrative for others.
Now, I bring that same intentionality to creation, photography, public speaking, and coaching brands to find their 'why.'

The Full Circle Moment
“It feels like I’ve come full circle — back to what always mattered: authentic human connection.”
Whether I’m capturing a single moment through a photo lens or crafting a long-form narrative for a client, it always returns to the same truth:
There’s a story here. Let’s honor it. Let’s share it.
My rugby days may be behind me, now replaced by the refreshing rhythm of swimming, the strategic calm of golf, or the friendly fire of tennis — but the inner mission remains:
To find the gold in people’s lives.
To amplify dignity.
To document the truth.
To build memory.

Let’s Make Some Memories Together
If you're drawn to authentic narratives — the kind that stir your soul or make you feel seen — then you're home.
Welcome to the storytelling table.
Let’s remember.
Let’s dream.
Let’s leave a record worth reading.
“Because storytelling is not just art. It’s legacy.”
